Producteev Launches API for Task Managing Apps

With this release, developers can now make use of Producteev’s scheduling back-end to create their own online, desktop and mobile front-ends for Producteev or integrate the service into their existing apps. The company is also launching a developer contest, with a cash prize of $2500 for the winning app and $1000 for the runner-up.According to Producteev’s CEO Ilan Abehassera, the company wants to enable the developer community to “build their dream task management app for whatever it is they are using today.” Producteev itself is already using the API in all of its tools, including the company’s iPhone app, IM clients and upcoming desktop applications.
